Hoversurf speaking at Revolution.Aero
On October 1st Revolution.Aero hosted a global meeting place for people who are reshaping, rethinking and revolutionising business and personal aviation.
The venue for the people leading personal and business aviation - disruptors shaping the second century of powered flight.
The event brings together new start-ups disrupting the market with companies that have been leading the industry for decades. It will help investors, analysts, journalists and other opinion formers understand this uniquely regulated industry and help regulators plot the future.
Hoversurf's COO, Joseph Segura-Conn joined a panel of professionals who are all working closely in the new eVTOL space. Joseph was joined by Stephen Burns of Workhorse, Starr Ginn of NASA and Andrew Beebe of Obvious Ventures. Their discussion focused on the "Charge of the flight brigade – why electric aviation is coming now." The panel spoke on battery technology and what the race between startups vs. manufacturers look like. The group agrees that this new market is coming but no one is certain as to how soon. Large companies and small startups are all working swiftly to ensure that when this market is ready they are not left behind.
Hoversurf has been working closely in the eVTOL space for over 4 years now, focusing its vision on the technology that will help drive this space into reality. With the creation of its famous S3 2019 hoverbike, Hoversurf needed to ensure that each aspect of the vehicle was safe and reliable. These factors led to the creation of some of their most valuable assets, like: advanced flight controller, single carbon monocoque frames, and most importantly their venturi engine. Hoversurf is looking into the future and investing heavily in all the systems that will be necessary for safe and reliable flight. Hoversurf's technology will help push this new market forward.
